Look at age and condition together
A roof that is only a few years old but has a small, clear problem is usually a good candidate for repair. Once a roof is past its typical life span for our high-desert sun and wind, it often makes more sense to compare the cost of repeated repairs to the cost of a full replacement.
Consider where the problem is
Localized issues around a vent, pipe or small valley are often repairable. Widespread curling, granule loss or many missing shingles spread across the roof may point toward replacement instead.
Think about timing and plans
If you plan to stay in the home long-term, investing in a solid replacement at the right time can save money and stress later.
A short inspection and a conversation about your plans can usually make the repair vs. replacement decision much clearer. You can start by scheduling a visit through the contact page.
