Watch for changes inside the house first
Many leaks show up inside before anything is obvious from the ground. Brown ceiling stains, bubbling paint, swollen trim or a musty smell in one corner can all point to a roof issue.
Look at the roof from the ground
From the street or backyard, look for missing shingles or tiles, areas that look darker or lighter than the rest of the roof and spots where the roof surface appears wavy.
Pay attention after wind and rain
High-desert wind plus short, heavy rain can push water into weak spots. If you notice drips or new stains right after a storm, note the timing and location.
If you are not sure whether what you are seeing is serious, a short description on the contact page is a good place to start.
