Do a simple ground check first

After a high-wind event, walk the property and look for shingles or tiles on the ground, pieces of metal flashing, or debris that looks like it came from the roof.

Look for lifted edges and shiny spots

From the ground, look along ridges and edges. Wind can lift shingles enough to break their seal without fully tearing them off. You may also see exposed nail heads or flashing that was previously covered.

Schedule a roof check if anything looks off

High-desert wind is hard on roofs, especially as they age. A quick ladder check by someone who knows what to look for can catch problems before the next storm turns them into active leaks.

If you have had wind and rain in a short period and are not sure how your roof handled it, use the contact form to request a post-storm roof check.
